Tiran is the Media & Entertainment (M&E) strategy & transformation executive for IBM’s advisory arm. He brings a broad experience having grown in the industry. Early in his career Tiran launched a boutique agency in NY city which provided rich media, branding and marketing services to brand marketers in financial services, manufacturing and consumer products. Later he joined a strategy advisory firm in DC where he helped companies improve their digital, marketing and sales operations. He was then recruited to NBC Universal’s strategy & transformation team (SIA). This NBCU internal team worked across every operational area at the company (including film, parks, cable, news, ad sales, IT and more). SIA became a significant contributor to the bottom line and a profitable growth generator with annual savings of $10-$20M. Some projects were about reducing the cost structure of operations (always stopping short of a headcount reduction), reducing reliance on 3rd party vendors and negotiation enterprise contracts in research, technology and business services.

After NBCU Tiran joined Ernst & Young’s nascent Media & Entertainment practice in 2010 where he led the broadcast & cable sector. In June 2012 Tiran joined IBM Global Business Services where he now brings full circle IBM’s deep technology capabilities including amoung others IBM’s offerings in cloud, big data, analytics and smarter commerce. Tiran is a Lean Six Sigma Maste Black Belt, Agile Certified Scrum Master and regularly shares his experiences at conference and is on judging panels on process excellence, media operations and digital strategy.

Tiran lives in New Jersey with his wife and two sons and works out of IBM’s NY office.

Steve Worling joined NASCAR in Daytona Beach, Fla. as a Network Administrator in May 2002. Worling went on to oversee the Infrastructure team for nearly six years. He was named Senior Director, Information Technology on Jan. 1, 2011.

In his current role, Worling oversees NASCAR’s Information Technology department and is responsible for delivering and supporting technology for the NASCAR organization and industry. He works closely with the NASCAR internal business, Race Tracks and Teams, and industry Partners and Sponsors, as the company rolls out and executes against a technology roadmap aligned with long-term objectives for one of North America’s premier sports.

Before his nine-and-a-half years at NASCAR, Worling worked for E-xpedient, an Internet service provider. As senior system administrator, Worling led a small team of engineers in building out a support structure for the startup company.

Worling started his career in the automotive industry as the network and P.C. engineer for Crane Cams, working on all aspects of IT for the manufacturer of camshafts and valve train components.

A native of Daytona Beach, Worling resides in Port Orange, Fla. with his wife Christine.

Wesley Simpson is a VP with Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., (TBS Inc.) working in the field of Media Asset Management since 2000. Jennifer Cooper brings more than 20 years of experience in sales, business development and strategy management in technology, publishing and digital media industries. Prior to joining Adobe, Jennifer was Founder and CEO of Mixercast, a social applications company. Before that, she served as Executive Director of Business Development for Yahoo! Inc., where she designed and launched Yahoo!’s first video subscription service and managed large media industry relationships including Hearst, Scripps, ABC/Disney, Viacom, Time Warner, Fox and NBC Universal. (now the Microsoft Windows media platform) and Microsoft. As founder and executive vice president of nCommand, Inc, Jennifer served on the board of directors and was responsible for securing initial rounds of Venture financing, as well as creating initial client relationships for nCommand’s products.
